Welcome to the Joint Task Force-Homeland Defense’s repository for Homeland Defense (HD), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), and CBRNE Consequence Management (CM) information.

Joint Task Force Homeland Defense (JTF-HD) executes Land Domain operations to defeat terrorist threats to the Homeland, and, when requested/validated, conducts Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) operations for all hazards including responding to and recovering from natural or man-made disasters.

Certain sections are restricted and will require you to register.

Who: National Guard Units across the US, Department of Homeland Security, Federal, State/Territories, and local emergency response organizations, DOD organizations with Homeland Defense (HD)/Civil Support (CS) missions (i.e. USNORTHCOM, USPACOM, JTF-HD).

What: Nationa guard Bureau (NGB) sponsored annual Joint/interagency HD/Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) exercise conducted at multiple venues across the U.S.  Exercise includes Tabletop Training Exercises (FTX) conducted over a week long period.

When:  12-19 Sep 08

Where: VG08 Activities in Pacific AOR/JTF-HD JOA will be conducted in Guam

Why: To exercise HD and OSCA operation in a Joint/Interagency environment in response to a Terrorist attach involving WMD
