“The Leyte Mudslide Response portal provides civil-military coordinators and crisis response action officers a Content Management System with the ability to modify and edit pages, coordinate response actions and logistics support with both military and non-government organizations and receive real-time situational reports. The portal provides an unclassified, non - (dot) mil open-source information and data exchange interface with disaster response, humanitarian relief and government organizations. The portal is currently set up to provide the following tools :

1. News Feeds - This tool allows users to display real time/updated news automatically from various news organizations using RSS syndication.
2. Document Exchange -  This tool allows users to share and organize electronic files and collaborate information using various folders for multiple organizations.  Briefs, SITREPS, current operation orders, etc. could be posted for further dissemination and information management.
3. Photo Gallery - This tool allows Combat Camera to manage photo library and display album for users to view.  Also, any form of photo sent from the field can be loaded onto the portal for documentation and archives.
4. Related Links - This section allow users to add links as needed to organizations and other non-government organizations. 
5. Email User Group - Contact distribution list if needed. 
6. Forum - This tool allows users to post discussion topics and can be used as a bulletin board..
7. Chat - This tool allows users to do real-time chatting online within in the website.
8. RFI/RFA - This tool allows users and country teams to request assistance and information
