Discussion

• MPAT is a rapidly maturing multinational program established in the aftermath of the events surrounding East Timor’s drive for independence. MPAT was established by CDRUSPACOM, in consultation with the Chiefs of Defense (CHOD) of various nations in the Asia-Pacific region in early 2000. The impetus for the program is to facilitate the rapid and effective establishment and/or augmentation of multinational coalition task force headquarters (CTF HQ).
